GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Red River rallied with two late third-period goals to down Fargo North 4-3 on Saturday in East Region boys hockey.
Nathaniel Fritel scored two goals to lead the Spartans (2-4). Sam Harr also found the back of the net for North, and Brendan Richards dished out two assists. North goalie Ryan Robison tallied 24 saves.
North held a 3-2 lead with under 90 seconds to play. Red River's Wyatt LeDuc knotted it at 3-3 at the 15:40 mark of the third period. Carter Sproule then buried the game-winner for the Roughriders (4-1) with 56 seconds to go.
