JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Taylor Klassen scored a trio of goals to spark Fargo Davies to a 6-1 win over Jamestown on Saturday in North Dakota girls hockey.
Klassen got the Eagles (5-0) going early with two first-period goals. She first struck 1 minute, 31 seconds into the game on an assist from Kylie Autrey. Klassen then found the back of the net at the 11:56 mark of the first period on an assist from Kaia Johnson to push it to 2-0. Autrey scored just over half a minute later to give Davies a commanding 3-0 advantage after the first frame.
Morgan Sauvageau scored an unassisted goal in the second period for Davies. Klassen and Johnson each found the back of the net in the third to cap the Eagles' scoring.
Alexis Kirkeby scored the lone goal for Jamestown (2-3-1).
