WILLMAR — The Willmar WarHawks stared at their third loss in four games after digging themselves a hole against Granite City on Saturday night.

A third-period outburst changed that.

Training 4-1 after two periods, the WarHawks scored four goals over the final 20 minutes to complete an exciting 5-4 comeback at the Willmar Civic Center.

Dylan Gajewski collected the game-winner on the power play with 1 minute, 50 seconds remaining in regulation.

Kaleb Miller got the surge going less than a minute into the final period after scoring with assists from Elbridge DeKraai and Lewis Rowan. From there, late penalties proved to be vital in the WarHawks’ rally.
