The Raiders opened strong, right after the puck drop with Emerson Garlie scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Ayla Puppe and Grace McCoshen .
The Raptors tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Allie Warner in the middle of the first period, assisted by Lily Fetch and Bella Schmidt .
The second period ended with a 4-1 lead for the Raiders.
The Raptors narrowed the gap to 4-2 early in the third period when Vivian Ferrell found the back of the net, assisted by Bella Schmidt and Addison Andre .

The Raptors narrowed the gap again late into the third when Lily Fetch netted one, assisted by Bella Schmidt.
Ayla Puppe increased the lead to 5-3 one minute later.
