The Grand Rapids-Greenway Lightning have enjoyed a great period of success and ahead of the road game against the Bemidji Lumberjacks, Grand Rapids-Greenway was on a run of five straight wins. But, Thursday's game at Bemidji Community Arena finished 3-2 and the winning streak was ended.

The Lumberjacks increased the lead to 2-0 late in the first period when Mali McLean scored, assisted by Bailey Rupp .

Bailey Rupp scored early into the second period, assisted by Megan Berg .

Late, Kalle Reed scored a goal, assisted by Maisie Bader and Molly Pierce , making the score 3-1.

The Lightning's Mercury Bischoff narrowed the gap again, at 7:25 into the third period.
