The visiting team took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Lillian Dutton. Ella Westlund and Lauren Maras assisted.
The Cardinals increased the lead to 2-0, after only 33 seconds into the second period when Ella Westlund scored, assisted by Aubrie Porter.
The Cardinals made it 2-1 with a goal from Makenna Larson.
Sophia Korynta increased the lead to 3-1 early into the third period, assisted by Kylie Lattimer and Jersey Severson.
