Upper Midwest High School Elite League top performers after Week 3

Players from Cretin-Derham Hall, Eden Prairie and Shattuck-St. Mary's top the best skaters and goaltenders of the UMHSEL after the third week

NEW HOPE, Minn. — The third week of the Upper Midwest High School elite league has concluded and players from Cretin-Derham Hall, Eden Prairie and Shattuck-St. Mary's represent the current top skaters and goaltenders.

Most players in the league have now appeared in around 10 games, some have a few more while others have a few less.

Jake Fisher of Cretin-Derham Hall, a Northern Michigan commit, remains the top point scorer with 13 goals and 15 assists.

Minnesota commit Teddy Townsend (Eden Prairie) claims 21 total points, while Hunter Anderson (Shattuck-St. Mary's) is the third place skater with 19.

Players close to cracking the top three in points include Blake Steenerson (17 points) of Maple Grove and Attila Lippai (18 points) of Cretin-Derham Hall.

Shattuck-St. Mary's has the top goaltender in Liam Beerman , who leads in both goals-against-average with 1.00 and a .971 save percentage.

Teams are back in action the weekend of Oct. 1, with games at New Hope Arena in Minnesota.
