The hosting team took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Kaden Feltmann.
The Stars increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first when Eli Hoffman scored, assisted by Kael Lundquist and Caleb Bendell.
The second period ended with a 3-2 lead for the Stars.
The Stars increased the lead to 4-2 within the first minute when Nickolas Azanov beat the goalie, assisted by Kaden Feltmann and Caleb Swenson.

The Stars increased the lead to 5-2, after only 40 seconds into the third period when Kael Lundquist scored.
Brandon Zierke narrowed the gap to 5-3 seven minutes later, assisted by Jonathan Scherven.
Caleb Bendell increased the lead to 6-3 seven minutes later, assisted by Tate Hardacre and Jared Greiner.
