The hosting Falcons started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Caden Hart scoring in the first minute, assisted by Ben Stoessel and RJ Wasilowski.

Tommy Kunze scored early in the second period, assisted by Oliver Linnemann.

Midway through, AJ Ritter scored a goal, assisted by Colton Rich, making the score 2-1.

Colton Rich tied the game 2-2 halfway through the third period.
