The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Wildcats took the lead when Nate Bluhm scored assisted by Jack Bakken and Cullen Dorcas.
The Wildcats made it 2-0 with a goal from Drake Thyen.
Nate Bluhm then tallied a goal as he scored yet again, halfway through, making the score 3-0. Drake Thyen and Nik Jinks assisted.
Late, Eddie Auran scored a goal, assisted by Preston Gamer, making the score 3-1.

The Warriors narrowed the gap again, after only 26 seconds into the third period when Joe Shepherd found the back of the net, assisted by Will Auran and Casey Ball.
