The Hamline Pipers won at home on Saturday, handing the Saint Mary's Cardinals a defeat 4-1.

The hosting Pipers started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Morgan Wohlers scoring in the first period, a goal assisted by Nikki Olund and Cheyenne Abear.

Emme Nelson scored midway through the second period, assisted by Annika Lindgren and Molly Meyers.

Late, the Cardinals' Leah Parker scored a goal, assisted by Anne Carmean, making the score 2-1.

Payton Luff increased the lead to 3-1 early in the third period, assisted by Morgan Wohlers and Nikki Olund.

Ally Steffensmeier increased the lead to 4-1 late into the third assisted by Morgan Wohlers.
