Gustavus Golden Gusties keep on winning and now have four straight wins

It was smooth sailing for the Gustavus Golden Gusties as they claimed another victory on Thursday against the St. Scholastica Saints, making it four in a row. They won 9-1 over St. Scholastica.

It was smooth sailing for the Gustavus Golden Gusties as they claimed another victory on Thursday against the St. Scholastica Saints, making it four in a row. They won 9-1 over St. Scholastica.

The Gusties started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Clara Billings scoring in the first period, a goal assisted by Kayla Vrieze and Emily Olson.

The Gusties increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Kaitlyn Holland halfway through the first period, assisted by Lily Mortenson.

The Gusties increased the lead to 3-0 in the middle of the first when Kaitlyn Holland scored again, assisted by Lily Mortenson.

The Gusties scored three goals in second period an held the lead 7-0 going in to the second break.

Brooke Power increased the lead to 8-0 halfway through the third period, assisted by Hailey Holland.

Allie Bussey narrowed the gap to 8-1 six minutes later, assisted by Halle Fields and Lauryn Hull.

Gianna Gasparini increased the lead to 9-1 less than a minute later, assisted by Kaitlyn Holland.
