Gabrielle David and Darcie Lappan play pivotal roles in road win against Sacred Heart

On Saturday, the Clarkson outlasted the Sacred Heart in a close matchup, winning 2-1 on road.

The visiting Clarkson took the lead early in the first period, with a goal scored by Gabrielle David. Haley Winn and Gretchen Branton assisted.

The Clarkson made it 2-0 with a goal from Darcie Lappan with 07.42 remaining in the third period and came even closer to victory.

Delani MacKay closed the gap for the at 2-1, and gave the game life once more with just three minutes of play remaining.
