Four goals by Rose Aldridge as Northern Lakes beat Prairie Centre

Rose Aldridge was in deadly shape when the Northern Lakes beat the Prairie Centre by 8-2. Rose Aldridge scored an incredible four goals and was instrumental to Northern Lakes' two team points.

Brooklyn Diederich, Myah Rueper, Jerret Tietz and Emily Traut scored the remaining goals for the home side, while Prairie Centre's goals came through Katelyn Jones and Kyra Swanson.

The hosting Northern Lakes players started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Brooklyn Diederich scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Geselle McLaughlin.

The Northern Lakes players increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Rose Aldridge in the middle of the first period, assisted by Jerret Tietz.

The second period ended with a 5-1 lead for the Northern Lakes players.

Katelyn Jones narrowed the gap to 5-2 early in the third period.

Emily Traut increased the lead to 6-2 four minutes later, assisted by Jenna Stoerzinger and Rose Aldridge.

Jerret Tietz increased the lead to 7-2 just one minute later, assisted by Brooklyn Diederich and Corah Meschke.

Myah Rueper increased the lead to 8-2 five minutes later, assisted by Kambria Thompson.

The Prairie Centre players play against Willmar on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST at West Saint Paul Arena. The Northern Lakes players will face Two Rivers/St. Paul on Friday at 7 p.m. CST at Sauk Centre Civic Arena.
