Four goals by Lilli Wold as North St. Paul/Tartan beat Visitation

Lilli Wold was in deadly shape when the North St. Paul/Tartan beat the Visitation by 16-1. Lilli Wold scored an incredible four goals and was instrumental to North St. Paul/Tartan's two team points.

Lilli Wold was in deadly shape when the North St. Paul/Tartan beat the Visitation by 16-1. Lilli Wold scored an incredible four goals and was instrumental to North St. Paul/Tartan's two team points.

Alaina Hedberg, Katelyn Hackman, Maddi McClellan, Riley Novak, Greta Culshaw-Klein, Payton Schwantes and Erin Wobse scored the remaining goals for the home side, and Caroline Doran scored for Visitation.

The North St. Paul/Tartan players scored seven goals in first period an held the lead 7-0 going in to the first break.

Six goals were scored in the second period, and the North St. Paul/Tartan players led 12-1 going in to the third period.

The North St. Paul/Tartan players increased the lead to 13-1, after only 30 seconds into the third period when Alaina Hedberg netted one yet again.

Riley Novak increased the lead to 14-1 five minutes later, assisted by Maddi McClellan and Ellie Volkers.

Erin Wobse increased the lead to 15-1 six minutes later, assisted by Ellie Volkers.

Maddi McClellan increased the lead to 16-1 three minutes later, assisted by Greta Culshaw-Klein.

Both teams play on Thursday, with the North St. Paul/Tartan players hosting the Woodbury players at 7:30 p.m. CST at HealthEast Sports Center, and the Visitation players playing the Waseca players at 7:45 p.m. CST at St. Thomas Ice Arena.
