Fighting Irish win in overtime against Fighting Hawks

With no decisive score in regulation, North Dakota's home game against Notre Dame ran into overtime on Thursday. Notre Dame snatched the win with a final score of 2-1.

The hosting team took the lead at 18:43 into the first period, with a goal scored by Brent Johnson. Jackson Kunz and Griffin Ness assisted on the play.

Landon Slaggert scored at 1:03 into the second, assisted by Graham Slaggert, to give the Fighting Irish the lead.

The third period ended scoreless, and the game continued into overtime.

In overtime, it took 1:38 before Graham Slaggert scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Nick Leivermann and Landon Slaggert.

Both teams were called for six penalty minutes.
