East Grand Forks decide the game with three goals in third period

In the first two periods of the game, the road-team Fort Frances held out fine against the East Grand Forks. East Grand Forks fought back in the third period and won the game 7-2.

In the first two periods of the game, the road-team Fort Frances held out fine against the East Grand Forks. East Grand Forks fought back in the third period and won the game 7-2.

The East Grand Forks players took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Blake Schultz. Laura Pesch assisted.

The Fort Frances players tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Kiera Fairnington in the middle of the first, assisted by Blaire Cross and Marlee Bliss.

The East Grand Forks' players Maggey Plante took the lead late into the first, assisted by Kara Ellis.

Three goals were scored in the second period, and the East Grand Forks players led 4-2 going in to the third period.

Blake Schultz increased the lead to 5-2 early in the third period.

Kara Ellis increased the lead to 6-2 two minutes later, assisted by Madison Stocker.

Maggey Plante increased the lead to 7-2 just one minute later, assisted by Madison Stocker.
