The Roseville/Mahtomedi players increased the lead to 2-0 in the first period when Victoria Nelson scored, assisted by Kylie Jones.
Jenne Horvat scored midway through the second period, assisted by Lucy Fellman.
Karyssa Clough tied the game 2-2 late into the third period, assisted by Jenne Horvat and Rylan Lorenz. With this tie the game went to overtime.
In overtime, it took 2:24 before Lydia Saxin scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Gracyn Schipper and Bailey Coole.
