The Big Red opened strong, with Georgia Schiff scoring right at the start, after only 40 seconds, a goal assisted by Kaitlin Jockims.
The Big Red increased the lead to 2-0 in the first period when Ashley Messier opened the scoring, assisted by Izzy Daniel and Gillis Frechette.
The Golden Knights narrowed the gap to 2-1 in the first period when Gretchen Branton struck.
The second period ended with a 7-1 lead for the Big Red.
Paige Kenyon increased the lead to 8-1 early in the third period, assisted by Claudia Yu and Gabbie Rud.
The Big Red chalked up four straight home wins.
