The Minutemen took the lead early in the first period, a goal by Taylor Makar. Ryan Lautenbach and Lucas Mercuri assisted.
The Dutchmen's Bram Scheerer tied the game 1-1 halfway through the first, assisted by Ethan Benz.
The Minutemen took the lead with a goal from Kenny Connors in the middle of the first, assisted by Cal Kiefiuk and Ryan Ufko.
The Minutemen increased the lead to 3-1 with a minute left into the first when Jerry Harding scored, assisted by Aaron Bohlinger and Eric Faith.

The Minutemen scored one goal in second period an held the lead 4-1 going in to the second break.
Ryan Lautenbach increased the lead to 5-1 in the third period, assisted by Scott Morrow and Kenny Connors.
Kenny Connors increased the lead to 6-1 just one minute later, assisted by Ryan Lautenbach and Ryan Ufko.
The Minutemen increased the lead to 7-1 with one second of play remaining into the third period after a goal from Linden Alger, assisted by Cole O'Hara.
