Connecticut Huskies wins in overtime against Union Dutchmen

Connecticut Huskies managed to squeeze out an overtime home win against Union Dutchmen, ending 4-3 in the NCAA action on Saturday.

The game-winning goal was scored by UConn's Chase Bradley.

The Dutchmen took the lead in the first period, a goal by Liam Robertson. Carter Korpi assisted.

Jake Flynn scored early in the second period, assisted by Ryan Tverberg.

Halfway through, Nick Capone scored a goal, assisted by Chase Bradley and Ty Amonte, making the score 2-1.

With a minute left, the Dutchmen made it 2-2 with a goal from Cal Mell.

The Dutchmen took the lead within the first minute of the third period when Ben Tupker scored, assisted by John Prokop and Nic Petruolo.

Jake Percival tied the game 3-3 seven minutes later, assisted by John Spetz. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 1:49 before Chase Bradley scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Matthew Wood and John Spetz.

This makes an impressive four straight victories for the Huskies.
