Connecticut claim win at home against RIT

A close game saw the Connecticut just edge out the RIT on Saturday. The final score was 3-2.

The game-winning goal was scored by Connecticut's Claire Peterson.

The hosting team took the lead in the first period, with a goal scored by Meghane Duchesne-Chalitoux. Kaitlyn Yearwood and Kathryn Stockdale assisted.

The tied the score at 1-1 when Amy Dobson netted one in the second period.

The scored again, making it 2-1 with a goal from Coryn Tormala after 19:39 in the period.

The tied the score at 2-2 when Athena Vasdani scored in the beginning of the third period in the third period.

The managed to decide the game 3-2 with 02.11 left when Claire Peterson found the back of the net.
