The Tigers started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Ray Christy scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Patrick Cozzi and Nicklas Andrews.

The Tigers increased the lead to 2-0 quickly in the first period when Matthew Gleason scored, goal assisted by Noah Laba and Nicklas Andrews.

Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Tigers led 4-1 going in to the third period.
