ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Reporter Mick Hatten of The Rink Live made his weekly appearance on WJON's "Hang Up and Listen" show with host Dave Overlund and talked about how this weekend's NCHC series between St. Cloud State and Colorado College has suddenly turned into a big one for the Huskies.

St. Cloud State is in a tie for fifth place and seven points out of fourth place, but with two wins and some help, could creep into the top four in the conference race. The top four teams in the NCHC at the end of the regular season will play host to a best-of-three playoff series. There's a few things the Huskies need to do to give themselves a shot at that and some adversity they need to overcome.

The interview also includes talk about college hockey attendance and some possible landing places for a next NCAA Division I program, Minnesota-Crookston's new club hockey team with a familiar face to Huskies fans in charge, a plug for a big Class 2A hockey game taking place Saturday in St. Cloud and some bonus talk on a story written about St. Cloud State sophomore forward Micah Miller.
