ST. CLOUD, Minn. — The Rink Live reporter Mick Hatten was in studio for a segment on WJON's "Hang Up and Listen" show on Friday, Jan. 31. He talks about some of the recent stories he's written on St. Cloud State men's hockey captain Jack Ahcan, former St. Cloud State men's assistant/head women's coach Eric Rud, the lone Huskies hockey number retired and some local high school hockey.

Ahcan talks about some of his offseason workout regimen and Hatten shares some more bits that did not make the story. He also talks about his story on Rud and how his family decided to have his wife and two youngest kids not move and some of the reasons why. Host Dave Overlund also asks why former NHL defenseman Bret Hedican has the lone number retired by St. Cloud State and will there be another retired by the university. Some talk on some of the criteria as to why Hedican's number was retired.

The St. Cloud co-op and St. Cloud Cathedral boys hockey teams are also both rolling along and the pair talk some Central Minnesota high school hockey.
