First period

UND 1, Colorado College 0 -- Cooper Moore (Jordan Kawaguchi, Collin Adams) 13:26. UND is overwhelming Colorado College and finally gets on the board. The pressure is started after Harrison Blaisdell steals the puck from Tiger defenseman Bryan Yoon and it ends with Kawaguchi flips a backhand saucer pass to Moore at the top of the left circle. Moore blasts it past Tiger goalie Dominic Basse.

Second period

UND 2, Colorado College 0 -- Shane Pinto (Collin Adams, Riese Gaber) :32 (pp). Colorado College attempts a shorthanded rush and gets caught as UND executes a three-on-two perfectly. Gaber enters the zone and gives it to Adams on the right side. Adams dishes it back to Pinto on the back door.

UND 2, Colorado College 1 -- Josiah Slavin (Ben Copeland, Zach Berzolla) 2:33. The Tigers answer quickly as Slavin enters the zone up the middle and flips a pass to Copeland on the left, then drives the net. Slavin gets a step behind UND defenseman Tyler Kleven and Copeland makes a perfect pass to Slavin's stick and the sophomore forward tips it past Scheel. It's Colorado College's first even-strength goal against UND this season.

UND 3, Colorado College 1 -- Jordan Kawaguchi (Shane Pinto, Tyler Kleven) 11:23. Just as UND kills off Colorado College's fifth power play of the night, Pinto gets the puck i the defensive zone and hits Kawaguchi with a stretch pass. Kawaguchi skates in alone and snaps a shot five-hole on Basse.

Third period

UND 4, Colorado College 1 -- Gavin Hain 11:04. Colorado College makes two bad turnovers in its own zone and the second one leads to a goal. Yoon has the puck in front of the crease and tries to one-touch a pass out of the zone, but he puts it on Hain's tape and Hain snipes the glove-side corner of the net.

Pregame notes

UND is, again, without defensemen Ethan Frisch and Gabe Bast. Frisch missed his second-straight game with an undisclosed injury. Bast missed his third-straight game. The Fighting Hawks are also playing without top-line winger Grant Mismash, who is serving a one-game suspension for checking Denver goalie Magnus Chrona last week. . . Brendan Budy is moving up to Mismash's spot and Harrison Blaisdell is drawing back in. . . Colorado College is playing its fifth-straight game without captain and leading goal-scorer Grant Cruikshank (appendectomy). . . This is UND's first home game since Feb. 29, 2020. . . UND is 20-1 in its last 21 home games. . . The goalie matchup is CC's Dominic Basse vs. UND's Adam Scheel.
