UND 1, Colorado College 0 -- Riese Gaber (Matt Kiersted, Shane Pinto) 14:26 (pp). UND gets its first power-play chance of the game late in the second period and it takes all of eight seconds for UND to score. UND 1, Colorado College 1 -- Ben Copeland (Jackson Jutting, Chase Foley) 19:01 (pp). The Fighting Hawks continue playing with fire, taking their third penalty of the period and this one comes back to bite them. The Tigers break UND's 23-straight penalty kill run when Copeland fires a shot from the left circle five-hole on UND goalie Adam Scheel, whose shutout streak ends at 132:15.
Third period
UND 2, Colorado College 1 -- Grant Mismash (Collin Adams, Brendan Budy) 1:41. UND's most dangerous duo of the night gets on the board early in the third. Adams and Tiger defenseman Bryan Yoon go for a puck at the point. Adams wins it and starts a two-on-one with Mismash. Adams has it on the left side, he threads a pass to Mismash, who wires it past Basse for his sixth of the season and second of the series.
