First period
Denver 1, UND 0 -- Carter Savoie (Bobby Brink, Mike Benning) 11:05 (pp). Denver converts on its first power-play chance of the night with Grant Mismash in the box. Benning takes a shot from the point that hits traffic in front. Brink picks it up and feeds Savoie in the left circle. There's nobody on that half of the ice and Savoie has a wide open net to shoot it in. It's the second goal in two college games for the rookie from Alberta.
Denver 1, UND 1 -- Jake Sanderson (Matt Kiersted, Grant Mismash) 17:16 (pp). Sanderson's first-career goal is a nice one. Standing on the top of the right circle, he blasts a Kiersted pass into the corner of the net on a one-timer to tie the game.

Third period
Denver 2, UND 1 -- Brett Edwards (Bobby Brink, Jaakko Heikkinen) :30. Denver takes the lead right back to start the third period. The Pioneers have a three-on-two rush with Brink carrying the puck up the right side. Brink makes a pass all the way across the ice to Edwards, who rifles a shot into the corner of the net for his first of the season.

Denver 2, UND 2 -- Ethan Frisch (Jake Sanderson, Adams) 13:03. Sanderson makes another tremendous play in the corner as UND makes a change behind him to hold the puck, then thread a pass back to the point, where Frisch hammers one by Chrona to tie it with 6:57 to go.

UND 3, Denver 3 -- Carter Savoie (Mike Benning) 17:08 (pp). Denver ties it up on the power play with just 2:52 to go. Savoie skates it into the left circle and picks the corner of the net for his third goal in two games.
Overtime
UND 4, Denver 3 -- Jordan Kawaguchi (Collin Adams) 1:17. Adams carried the puck in the zone, cut to the middle and left a drop pass for Kawaguchi. The senior protected the puck, dipped around a defender and flipped a puck over Chrona's shoulder from in tight for the game-winner.
