The first period was scoreless, and late in the second period, the Golden Knights took the lead when Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup scored the first goal assisted by Ayrton Martino and Mathieu Gosselin.
The Golden Knights increased the lead to 2-0 with 01.13 remaining of the third period after a goal from Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup.
The Golden Knights made it 3-0 when Erik Bargholtz scored, assisted by Ryan Richardson and Jordan Power with a minute left into the third. That left the final score at 3-0.
