The Bulldogs opened strong, taking the lead when Noah Cates opened the scoring after 14:07, but the Huskies' Kevin Fitzgerald tied it up at the end of the period.
The Huskies took the lead 2-1 again when Nolan Walker scored after 1:36 in the second period.
The Bulldogs turned the game around when they made four straight goals and went from 2-1 to 5-2. With that the team claimed an easy win.
In the third period, the Bulldogs held on to its 5-2 lead and won.

The Huskies were whistled for 11 penalty minutes, while the Bulldogs spent eight minutes in the penalty box.
