The visiting Boston College Eagles players took the lead early into the first period, with a goal scored by Hannah Bilka. Keri Clougherty assisted.
It took a while for either team to score again. Katie Pyne scored halfway through the second period, assisted by Kelly Browne and Abby Newhook.
Abby Newhook scored in the third period, assisted by Hannah Bilka and Cayla Barnes, increasing the lead for the Boston College Eagles players.
Katie Kaufman scored only seconds later, assisted by Teghan Inglis and Tara Blackburn, narrowing the gap for the Merrimack Warriors players.

Gaby Roy scored a goal seven minutes later, assisted by Sidney Fess and Kate Ham.
