Blaine win against Champlin Park/Coon Rapids in overtime

It was a long and winding road for the Blaine on the road against the Champlin Park/Coon Rapids in the game on Thursday. The road side won in overtime 2-1.

Blaine's Kendal Dean scored the game-winning goal.

The first period was scoreless, and in the second period, the Champlin Park/Coon Rapids players took the lead when Tessa Boden opened the scoring.

Late in the second period, the Blaine players made it 1-1 with a goal from Bell Brady.

In overtime, it took 22 seconds before Kendal Dean scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Macy Janssen and Paige Nowicki.
