The first period was scoreless.
It wasn't until 3:43 into the second period that the Raiders took the lead when Matt Verboon opened the scoring goal assisted by Nick Anderson and Alex Young.
The Big Red turned the game around when they made three straight goals and went from 1-0 to 3-1. Cornell's goals were scored by Ben Berard, Matt Stienburg och Kyle Penney. The 2-1 goal came with just 01.28 of play remaining. Then came 3-1 with 50 remaining.
The Big Red were called for just four penalty minutes, while the Raiders spent 23 minutes in the penalty box.
