The visiting Lindenwood players started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Caige Sterzer scoring in the first period, a goal.

The second period ended with a 3-2 lead for the Yellowjackets.

The Lindenwood players tied the score 3-3 within the first minute when David Gagnon found the back of the net again.

Oscar Geschwind took the lead late in the third period, assisted by Reggie Millette and Luis Lindner.
