Alexandria win against Fergus Falls in overtime

With no decisive score in regulation, the Alexandria's home game against the Fergus Falls ran into overtime on Tuesday. Alexandria snatched the win with a final score of 3-2.

With no decisive score in regulation, the Alexandria's home game against the Fergus Falls ran into overtime on Tuesday. Alexandria snatched the win with a final score of 3-2.

Alexandria's Aubrie Porter scored the game-winning goal.

The Alexandria players took the lead late into the first period, with a goal from Morgan Aure. Lauren Maras and Kennedy Ellingson assisted.

The Fergus Falls players tied the score 1-1 early in the second period when Maddie Hulter netted one, assisted by Tyra Skjeret.

The Fergus Falls players made it 2-1 six minutes into the period when Maddie Brimhall found the back of the net, assisted by Brook Zierden and Maddie Hulter.

Lauren Maras tied the game 2-2 halfway through the third period, assisted by Sophia Korynta. With this tie the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 5:59 before Aubrie Porter scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Kylie Lattimer and Cadence Ellingson.
