Alaska Nanooks wins in overtime against Omaha Mavericks

With no decisive score in regulation, Omaha Mavericks' home game against Alaska Nanooks ran into overtime on Friday. Alaska snatched the win with a final score of 3-2.

The game-winning goal was scored by Alaska's Brady Risk.

The Nanooks took the lead in the middle of the first period, a goal by Karl Falk. Connor Mylymok and Colin Doyle assisted.

The Nanooks increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Harrison Israels late in the first, assisted by Jonny Sorenson.

The Mavericks narrowed the gap to 2-1 late into the first when Jake Pivonka scored, assisted by Davis Pennington and Ty Mueller.

Matt Miller tied the game 2-2 early into the third period, assisted by Tyler Weiss and Joaquim Lemay. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 2:00 before Brady Risk scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Jonny Sorenson and A.J. Macaulay.
