The game between home team Penn State Nittany Lions and visiting Michigan Wolverines finished 4-3 after drama in overtime. The result means that PSU's run of nine straight wins has come to an end on Saturday.

Michigan's Adam Fantilli scored the game-winning goal.

The Wolverines took the lead in the first period, with a goal from Mackie Samoskevich. Dylan Duke and T.J. Hughes assisted.

The Wolverines increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first period when T.J. Hughes scored, assisted by Seamus Casey and Philippe Lapointe.

Mackie Samoskevich scored late in the second period, assisted by Adam Fantilli.

Tyler Paquette narrowed the gap to 3-1 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Xander Lamppa and Carter Schade.

The Nittany Lions narrowed the gap again late into the third when Kevin Wall found the back of the net, assisted by Ryan Kirwan and Christian Berger.

Xander Lamppa tied the game 3-3 two minutes later, assisted by Christian Sarlo and Tyler Paquette. With this tie the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 24 seconds before Adam Fantilli scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Mackie Samoskevich and Luke Hughes.
